Pete has been illustrating professionally for over 25 years, with the last 15 years working purely digital. Like many of the illustrators who started out before the computer revolution, Pete has the training and experience as a traditional graphic artist. He also spent 5 years freelancing in London at the start of the Digital Illustration era.
Based in Cape Town, Pete is confident in many software applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, Dreamweaver and Cinema 4D. His signature style is to work in a programme called Painter, which allows him to digitally create photo-realistic illustrations, which are indistinguishable from traditional paintings.
Although hugely versatile, being able to produce work which looks hand crafted with all the conveniences of digital artwork makes him a highly sought after illustrator.
